Today’s move is probably the most performed strengthening exercise. Bicep curls are great to firm and tone the arms, but if you do the move incorrectly, you may be opening yourself up for injury.
Follow these simple tips and watch a few variations to hit specific areas of the bicep muscle.
- Take the move slow and easy. Focus on squeezing the muscle at the top of the move for a challenge.
- Don’t swing your body while performing the move. The only part of your body that should move is your biceps.
- To keep the muscle constantly challenged, never relax the arm all the way down at the end of the move.
