The Endurance-Building Workout

If you’re new to fitness or an old pro, working to improve your endurance can have many benefits.

Building your endurance helps your heart and lungs deliver oxygen to the body and helps the muscles work for extending periods of time without getting tired.

This bodyweight workout will get your heart pumping and your muscles activated to build your endurance.

Do as many reps as possible for 40 seconds. Rest 20 seconds between exercises. Repeat 2-3 times. Rest 1 minute between rounds.

Round 1
Alternating jump lunges
Plank jacks
Air squats

Round 2
Jump rope
Push up to downward dog
Mountain climbers

Round 3
Jumping jacks
Squat to Upright Reach
Burpees
