The Power of Pilates
Pilates is more than stretching with ballerina-like movements. This low-impact routine is a powerful strength-building workout that tones and elongates the muscles, improves balance and posture, all while getting your heart pumping for a cardio workout. It also improves flexibility and body awareness, promotes weight loss, and Pilates is a low-impact exercise that can be performed by people of all ages and fitness levels.
In the following pilates session, we’ll focus on all of the major muscle groups. Do each movement for 30-40 seconds. Rest for 20-30 and complete 3-4 sets.
