The warm-up is the most important part of any exercise session. It may not seem like much, but taking a few moments to warm up your joints and muscles can maximize movement throughout your workout, help in recovery, and prevent injury.

Take 5 minutes before your workout and give some of our favorite warm-up routines a try.

  1. Jump rope for 3 minutes
    Stationary plank for 1 minute
    Side-to-side plank for 1 minute

Jumping jacks for 1 minute
Side-to-side squats for 1 minute
Push ups for 20 seconds

  1. Hula hoop for 2 minutes
    Mountain climbers for 20 seconds
    Alternating lunges for 1 minute
