Healthy Must-Haves for Your College Student
As college students back in the day, many of us can remember getting care packages from our loved ones. Those boxes full of snacks and basic necessities were a God-send, fueling us during those late-night study sessions, long after the cafeteria closed for the evening.
Now, many of us have our own children, nieces, nephews, and young family members headed to school. And with the many upcoming stresses of college life, our young people need nourishment through healthy foods.
Here are a few healthy snack and meal suggestions to pass along to your college student.
- Low-sodium broths
- Dry noodles and ready-made rice
- Box soups
- Granola
- Dried fruit
- Plant-based box milk
- Plant-based jerky
- Teas and coffee
- Oatmeal packs
- Nuts and nut butters
