Today’s yoga movement is a great sequence to wake your body up. It combines a squat with Wild Thing yoga pose. 

The squat offers a good stretch for the groin area while Wild Thing creates space in the hip flexors, the front, and sides of the torso.

Watch the video below. The first version is for those unfamiliar with Wild Thing Pose but still offers a good stretch. The second version includes Wild Thing. 

Tips: 

  • Try to keep the feet as flat as possible in your squat. Use the elbows to widen your stretch throughout the groin. 
  • In Wild Thing, release tension by relaxing the neck and letting it hang. 
  • BREATHE DEEPLY.
