Aromatic Bath Salt Recipes For Your Self-Care Day
Nothing ends a stressful week like a day dedicated to refreshing and replenishing our mind, body and spirit. If you like relaxing in a warm tub, try making and adding one of these bath salt combinations to your self-care regimen.
All of these recipes contain Epsom or a dead sea salt. Begin with 4 cups of plain, unscented salt in a large mixing bowl. Add a combination of essential oils to stimulate your senses. Store any extra in an airtight container. Add the aromatic salt soaks as you run a warm body or foot bath.
Put Me to Sleep Salt
- 10-20 drops of lavender oil
- 10-20 rose or geranium oil
Love Your Muscles Salt
- 10-20 drops of eucalyptus oil
- 10-20 drops of peppermint oil
- 10 drops of rosemary oil
- 10 drops of sandalwood oil
Energize Me Salt
- 10-20 drops of citrus oil (sweet orange, lime and/or lemon)
- 10-20 drops of peppermint oil
- 10-20 drops of bergamot oil
